Edith moved deliberately across the rugged terrain, each step resonating with a distinct clatter against the rocky ground. She held a lantern to illuminate her path.

Edith moved deliberately across the rugged terrain, each step resonating with a distinct clatter against the rocky ground. She held a lantern to illuminate her path.

Edith moved deliberately across the rugged terrain, each step resonating with a distinct clatter against the rocky ground. She held a lantern to illuminate her path.

Edith's structure is made of simple shapes such as squares, circles and triangles. I added a lamp hanging from a staff to give the robot a more adventurous look, suggesting she goes on regular nighttime adventures.

Orpha has a blocky, armoured design. She's short and bulky, built more for heavy lifting than for stealth.

Otto’s design conveys his wide-eyed curiosity. His round head sticks out like a snail from its shell. He’s driven by a strong desire to explore the mysteries of old Earth.

Simeon's design is uncomplicated and primarily constructed from cylinders and round shapes, highlighting the robot's sleekness. His design makes him well suited for stealthier tasks.

I wanted this artwork to evoke a feeling of loneliness and sadness, with a robot searching for its place on a nearly empty planet. The bright red lava against the cool blue concrete adds drama to the scene.
