This wild group of rebels, driven by greed, causes trouble wherever they go. I gave the characters long, thin features to show their cold, unfriendly nature, and pushed their shapes to make the designs fun and eye-catching.

Hector has a thin, almost skeletal look. I wanted him to look gaunt and mysterious, with a face that hints at a past full of experiences and secrets.

Yaz wasn’t what you’d call a people person. The fact that she barely had any friends wasn’t shocking, but she never seemed too bothered by it.

I designed Yaz to be the snarky one in the group. With her slouched posture and unfriendly look, she comes off as relaxed but hard to approach.

In this artwork I have set the main character on a Caribbean island similar to the classic pirate movies, as it suited the character design. My goal was to ground the audience in something familiar while adding an interesting twist with robotics.
